Pride Edward - Cornered by a Monster

Decided to try out drawing my Pride in the 2003 anime style. The background was a really pain in the ass to remake, although I will say that it's a background similar to what we've seen in the first anime. I tried making it noticeably different. And the shading on the body took me some time too, but definitely nowhere near as hard.

Pride is just as wild and murderous here as he usually is while he's 'traveling' Amestris looking for his next victims, either by himself or any of the other homunculi tagging along with him. In this picture, you could all probably guess what's going on. He has someone backed into a corner and is going for the kill any second now (though not before scaring the soul out of the poor victim).

And yes, he appears older again, and as I said in my other deviations there's a reason for that.

Took me about two weeks to color WITH many breaks in between (and writing up the second chapter during these breaks).

Let me know what you guys think, did I succeed or should I have done a better job?
