BBI Edward, Before the Change (colored)

FINALLY! After over a month I release the colored version!!! Freaking college keeping me from submitting it, lol. Will add more description later, too busy right now.

UPDATE: Not really much to be said for this picture, compared to the Pride picture. It's just a 'prequel' to the story I have in mind. It's basically Edward during the last day of BBI, and this picture is just symbolizing his anguish and the chaos he endured during his final hours as an alive human. He's been imprisoned, beaten, and most likely tortured by Envy, and Envy just LOVES to torture the pipsqueak as a form of punishment. Ed tried to go against those he owed a life  debt to and now he paid the price for his insolence, basically. The dark background is basically the environment he is in underneath Amestris Central Headquarters, the same place where many of the battles in the game took place. I tried to incorporate adding in an attribute of the lesser mentioned area, the all-white area, with the red markings on the walls. The red markings are of course similar to the markings we see on Pride's right arm, wrapping right above his wrist area around his lower arm. I believe we also see these markings, or similar ones, in the 2003 series when Edward was in Laboratory 5. The lightning effects are just a symbol of alchemy gone out of control, which symbolizes his 'current' life going out of control AND an interpretation from this scene in the game i2.photobucket.com/albums/y9/k…. I made the alchemic energy lines a bit too thick, but it's to convey the similarity to the game. The blue feathers are of course are complete symbolism, under normal circumstances they wouldn't be there. They basically symbolize the loss of the bluebird (the happiness) from Ed's life at this point. Hence why the game is called 'Bluebird's Illusion'. I don't think I did a great job with the feathers, but like I said in the Pride picture it's been years since I submitted art and without practice.

The improvements I've made:

His automail arm, I tried to make it look more like it should, though I still say it looks shabby.
The dark opening behind him, I widened the right side more.
The alchemic lightning effects, made them look more 'energy-ish'.
The blooded areas on his right arm, made the arm now actually LOOK injured where there are cuts in his sleeve.
Just pretty much fixed up the stress lines on his face, mainly the ones under his eyes.
I made the blood spots all over just waaay more prominent, which I had in mind from the beginning.
The shade spots under his bangs had their lines fixed to make it look more like how they look in the animes.
NEWEST: I fixed up his hair; now it doesn't have those black sketch lines which separate each part of his bangs.
